~WHEN CAN I EXPECT MY RIBBON TO SHIP?

Orders ship within 3–5 business days after design approval. Business days are Monday–Friday, excluding holidays. Please note that the 3–5 business day production time does not include shipping/transit time. Please allow additional time for shipping when estimating your delivery date.

~WILL I GET A PROOF BEFORE FINAL PRINT?

If you would like a proof, please select this option. Mockups are provided as a black-and-white layout proof for placement and sizing only and do not represent the final printed result.

~CAN YOU HELP ME WITH MY DESIGN?

Of course, please reach out with any questions or help that you need, we can offer suggestions on design and placement.

~I HAVE MY OWN LOGO OR ICON?

If you would like your custom logo or a different icon, please select "yes" option. Please keep in mind that your logo will be proportionally resized to fit the ribbon.

~WHAT IF I HAVE MY OWN FONT?

No problem, let us know the name of the font and we'll do our best to find it, or you can send us the file.

~WILL ALL LOGOS AND FONTS PRINT WELL ON RIBBON?

Not always. Because ribbon has a limited printable area, very small text, thin fonts, fine lines, intricate details, and small icons or shapes may not reproduce clearly.

Your artwork will be proportionally resized to fit the ribbon width, which can make smaller details even more difficult to print.
For the best results, we recommend clean, simple artwork with clear lettering and strong lines.

If we notice elements in your artwork that may not print well, we will let you know before production.

~CAN I COMBINE MY LOGO WITH CUSTOM FONT?

Absolutely, add your message then select the font. Leave any other instructions in the design comment box, e.g. logo + Happy Holidays + icon.

~CAN YOU PRE CUT MY RIBBON BROFRE SHIPPING?

Yes, absolutely. Please let us know if the ribbon is for our changeable ribbon gift boxes, and we can cut it for you.

One 50-yard roll will provide approximately 60 ribbons at approximately 29" each. Final quantities and cut lengths may vary slightly depending on logo placement, spacing, and required cutting space. We recommend spacing of .50 or .75 for cut ribbon.

~IS THE RIBBON WASHABLE? CAN IT BE CUT AND USED FOR CLOTHING LABELS?

Our ribbon and print are water-resistant. They are NOT washable and are meant to be used for decorative purposes only.

~I'M UNSURE ABOUT THE RIBBON COLOR, CAN I GET A SAMPLE?

Please contact us for a color sample before you place your order. If you are working on a special project and need a color not shown, let us know and we'll do our best to find it.

~WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SINGLE AND DOUBLE FACE SATIN RIBBON?

Double face satin has a smooth, glossy finish on both sides, while single face satin has a shiny finish on one side and a matte finish on the other. Double-face satin is softer and more luxurious.

~WHAT KIND OF RIBBON DO YOU USE?

We only use finished/woven edge double face satin ribbon.

~CAN YOU PRINT ON BOTH SIDES OF THE RIBBON?

Typically we only print on one side. Our satin ribbon is finished on both sides and can be double printed if desired. Contact us for a quote. Starting at + $40.00.

~WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?

Once the mock up has been approved, all sales are final on our custom ribbon orders.

Please be sure to check grammar and spelling before checkout and on final mock up.

 

To tie the perfect bow on a gift box, the amount of ribbon you need depends on the size of the box and the style of bow you'd like to make.

How much ribbon will I need?

HERE'S A GENERAL GUIDE USING 1 ROLL OF 50 YARDS (1800 inches).

  • Basic Gift Wrap with Simple Bow - as shown in How-to Video tab:

Small Square = 35 boxes at 51 inches per box 

A6 Square = 29 boxes at 62 inches per box 

A5 square =  25 boxes at 72 inches per box 

A5 Deep = 25 boxes at 72 inches per box 

A4 Deep = 18 boxes at 100 inches per box 

A4 Shallow = 19 boxes at 94 inches per box 

Medium Rectangle = 19 boxes at 94 inches per box 

Medium Square = 18 boxes at 100 inches per box 

Large Square = 16 boxes at 112 inches per box 

LARGER AND MORE ELABORATE BOWS

  •  If you want a larger or more elaborate bow, or if you plan to have long ribbon tails, add more length. 

General rule: Add an extra 2 to 3 feet of ribbon (24 to 36 inches) to ensure you have enough for a fuller or double bow. 

ADDING RIBBON TO OUR SLOTTED RIBBON BOXES

  • One 50-yard roll will provide approximately 60 ribbons at 29" each. Final quantities and cut lengths may vary slightly based on logo placement, design spacing, and the space needed between each printed design for cutting. We recommend 0.50"–0.75" spacing between designs for cut ribbon.
